Ideas for Praying With St. Carlo Acutis:O God, our Father, Thank you for giving us Carlo, a model of life for young people, and a message of love for all.
You made him fall in love with your Son, Jesus, making the Eucharist his "highway to Heaven". You gave him Mary, as a beloved Mother, and with the Rosary, You made him sing the praises of her tenderness. Accept his prayer for us. Attend especially to the poor, whom he loved and assisted.Through his intercession, may I receive the grace I need... ~your intention~ May his smile shine in Your Kingdom as it did for us, to emanate the glory of Your Holy Name. Amen(Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be)- Pray the prayer on the back of the card with your family or by yourself in observation of the canonization of our two new, young saints. There’s a pause in the prayer for you to add your own prayer request of our Lord, through St. Carlo’s intercession as a saint.

August 28, 2025 On Sunday, September 7, the Catholic Church will canonize two young saints, Pier Giorgio Frassatiand Carlo Acutis. Each saint had a special devotion to the Eucharist and to serving the poor.o Pier Giorgio Frassati▪ I urge you with all the strength of my soul to approach the Eucharistic Table as often as possible. Feed on this Bread of the Angels from which you will draw the strength to fight inner struggles, the struggles against passions and against all adversities, because Jesus Christ has promised to those who feed themselves with the most Holy Eucharist, eternal life and the necessary graces to obtain it. - Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati▪ Frassati also encouraged young people to enter into one of three apostolates he described: that of Good Example, that of Charity, and that of Persuasion.▪ Frassati, who died at 24 years of age, will have his feast day on July 4.Carlo Acutis▪ Carlo Acutis is a saint for our times, showing us the way forward. He was a young man who used technology to foster genuine spiritual communion rooted in Christ. It also highlights his self-imposed moderation in using technology within a life, first and foremost devoted to God. For Carlo, technology was a tool to serve God, not an end in itself.▪ Central to Carlo’s life and spirituality was his deep devotion to the Eucharist, which he viewed as the antidote to the discarnate nature of the virtual world. Carlo emphasized that the Eucharist, with its real presence and physical communion, serves as a critical anchoring reality. This idea starkly contrasts the often isolating and superficial interactions fostered by digital technology.▪ When Carlo became interested in computer coding, he intentionally created websites designed to guide visitors toward the mysteries of faith, especially the Eucharist. Brett Robinson from the McGrath Institute of Notre Dame captured Carlo’s insight succinctly: “Carlo is subverting the digital medium, reminding us that technology isn’t what’s enchanting; what’s truly enchanting is our Lord in the Eucharist.”▪ Nativity will particularly honor St. Carlo Acutis by offering prayer cards to all Nativity NELC, grade school and high school students prior to the canonization. Our hope is that the prayer cards and St. Acutis’ intercession will inspire and assist young people and their parents in leading lives of holiness in the Church.▪ Eucharistic Miracles - Some of St. Carlo Acutis’ collected images of Eucharistic miracles will be displayed on September 7.▪ Acutis’ feast day will be October 12.
