Welcoming Christ Himself
Archdiocesan Synod Implementation calls us to “Radical Hospitality,” which aligns beautifully with the vision of our pastor, Fr. Rolf Tollefson, to give newcomers to Nativity of Our Lord the red carpet treatment, if you will, to welcome them and see them as Christ himself.
To that end, we here at Nativity want to open our doors wider to invite everyone — new and current parishioners, visitors, and Catholics and non-Catholics alike — to experience Christ in our interactions in all our liturgies, ministries, programs, and events. The possibilities for such encounters are both priceless and endless.

Hospitality SundaysThe Synod's further emphasis on reclaiming the Lord's Day as a day of rest, leisure, and community — alongside the primacy of worship — makes Sundays the perfect opportunity for extending hospitality to our parish community.

To that end, the Hospitality Team at Nativity of Our Lord wishes to ensure there's an opportunity for fellowship and community-building every Sunday morning. And so, on the other Sundays when the Nativity Men's Club is not hosting their popular Donut Sunday events, the Hospitality Committee will will be hosting a gathering with donuts and coffee.
