Welcome to the Family Corner!
Do you ever feel as if the weeks just fly by, the weekends evaporate, and Sunday arrives in a flurry of demands? How can we keep up with expectations of work, school, sports, and more—and still have time to rest and play?
This year, through August 2026, the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis encourages and guides us in Reclaiming Sundays, for families and for the Lord. For the well-being of all of us.
In this Family Corner feature, we build on the monthly themes of this Reclaiming Sundays guide, with the focus on our life here at Nativity of Our Lord.
We have many liturgical, sacramental, and community opportunities! The joy of uplifting music from Mass, special sacraments, and even the County Fair can spill over into our homes and help make Sundays more special.
Check in regularly, as a new Family Corner feature will be published at the beginning of each month. You will find encouragement, ideas, and permission to reclaim Sundays.

All Saints Day and All Souls Day encourage us to remember those who have gone before us. Family Corner will now tie into the Archdiocesan initiative to help us refresh and deepen observation of the Lord’s Day. This initiative is described in "Reclaiming Sundays: A Guide for Families." For each month of the next year, Family Corner will develop the Archdiocesan theme as we can live it here at Nativity of Our Lord.Read More
