This month, the Archdiocese invites us reclaim our Sundays through real encounters with the created world. We are invited to make the Sabbath a day to truly do “something”:
Get outdoors and relish the gift of God’s creation. Walk, roll, run, or sit. Stop and discover—look, listen, breath in, and touch.
Visit your favorite local city or state park. Then, visit a new one!
Borrow a field guide and learn the names of a new wildflower, tree, or bird. Teach a child (or a friend!) the names of things growing and living among us.
Watch how God’s plan unfolds in the ways animals care for each other, especially their young.
Go fishing!
Play on the beach or wade in the water.
