June 24, 2026This month, the Archdiocese invites us reclaim our Sundays through real encounters with the
created world. We are invited to make the Sabbath a day to truly do “something”:- Get outdoors and relish the gift of God’s creation. Walk, roll, run, or sit. Stop and discover—look, listen, breath in, and touch.
- Visit your favorite local city or state park. Then, visit a new one!
- Borrow a field guide and learn the names of a new wildflower, tree, or bird. Teach a child (or a friend!) the names of things growing and living among us.
- Watch how God’s plan unfolds in the ways animals care for each other, especially their young.
- Go fishing!
- Play on the beach or wade in the water.
