Longtime parishioner and artist Joshua Cunningham painted our historic parish church on the occasion of its 100-year anniversary. The original image now hangs in our Heritage Room.

Here is the plan for the entire Lenten Series on Prayer from our Pastor, Fr. Rolf Tollefson. Videos will viewed in small group meetings and will also be available for anyone else who wants to learn about prayer — whether they're brand new to an intentional prayer life, or seasoned vets.

The stained glass has all been re-installed and is looking great! All that remains to be done is to remove the lift from the church and reinstall the pews. If all goes well, the church should be back to normal by Wednesday. Thank you for your continued patience!

In the first three days of online sign-up over 170 of you signed up for 27 different small groups, filling many of them. We'd particularly like more men and more School parents sign up. Registration will close January 31.

Archbishop Hebda hopes every parishioner in every parish will eventually be in some kind of small group within the parish. Why not begin with us this Lent?

I was excited to learn a short time ago that I have been assigned to spend two weeks here with you as part of the Saint Paul Seminary’s “Parish Experience” program.

Thank you for your prayers for our priests as they had to sit out the Christmas liturgies last weekend due to illness. They are both on the mend and should be back in action this weekend.

The solemn feast of the Nativity of Our Lord is upon us, my very first as pastor of Nativity of Our Lord. As our Advent longing turns to Christmas joy, may God bless you and your families ever more abundantly.

Have fun meeting and working with new friends, and singing the great music of the Church every four or five weeks at the Saturday 5pm Mass. Any boy or girl from 3rd-8th grade may join.

You may have been involved with the Synod over the last three years, or you may not have heard much about it. Here’s an update on where we’ve been, and where we are going.

To support this initiative, we would like to identify those with the experience or the gifts needed to lead small groups starting in Lent and invite them to a training series to be held this fall.

I would like to offer my heartfelt gratitude as I step down this week from my role as pastor of Nativity of Our Lord after over 15 years together. It has been my great honor to help lead the parishioners and students of Nativity to follow Our Lord ever closer.

Last weekend, I announced at the Nativity of Our Lord Night to Shine Spring Gala (as well as at each of the Lord’s Day Masses) that Archbishop Hebda has named Fr. Rolf Tollefson as my successor as pastor of Nativity of Our Lord, effective July 1.

Steiner Hall is now outfitted for livestream capabilities, so once again all morning Masses (plus 5pm Saturday) are livestreamed on our website.
