Small groups for Lent 2025 will begin the first full week of Lent on Sunday, March 9. Sign-ups for open Lenten small groups will begin on Sunday, February 16.

The entire parish and community is invited to three Advent Days of Recollection as we introduce the mission and vision of our pastor, Fr. Rolf Tollefson, in the new liturgical year and Synod Year 2.

We are looking for volunteers to pray a rosary before the Blessed Sacrament for the repose of the souls of our faithfully, and for the comfort and healing of their families.

We would like all volunteers who wish to serve in the upcoming liturgical year — whether you're brand new or a longtime veteran — to be (re-)trained to learn the latest standards from Fr. Erickson, our new Director of Liturgy. Click the headline above for more information.

My name is Ian Willnerd, and I am Nativity of Our Lord’s teaching parish seminarian. Throughout my ongoing four years of theology at the St. Paul seminary, I will be learning about parish ministry from Fr. Tollefson right here at Nativity. 

I could not be more excited to serve you as your next Associate Pastor, under the leadership of Fr. Rolf Tollefson, a priest I have admired and enjoyed for nearly two decades.

Adoration will expand to include Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, beginning this Thursday, April 25. Thank you to all who volunteered to make it possible!

Fr. Bill Duffert will lead Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Bloomington beginning July 1, and Fr. John Paul Erickson will take over as Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) on July 20.

Videos are being viewed in small group meetings and are now also available for anyone else who wants to learn about prayer — whether they're brand new to an intentional prayer life, or seasoned vets.

We are expanding our Donut Sunday weekends to be our official Welcome Weekends, and we want all parishioners to make time to stay after Mass to meet new parishioners, and become better acquainted with everybody else.
