Each year, the Catholic Church in the United States designates this third Sunday in September as Catechetical Sunday. It is a day to celebrate and pray for the Church’s mission to teach the Gospel to all people. 

Do you know someone interested in learning about the Catholic faith? Classes started Wednesday, September 7. All are welcome anytime during the year.

The readings for the celebration of Easter talk a lot about death, at least for a day when we are celebrating the opposite. But that’s for good reason: without Christ’s death, there would be no resurrection — not for him, and not for us.

Eucharistic Ministers are no longer required to wear masks when distributing Communion. The priest celebrant will continue to wear a mask during Communion.

Sunday at the 11:00 AM Mass we celebrate the Rites of Acceptance and Welcoming for our RCIA Catechumens and Candidates, an essential step along the way towards full initiation into our Catholic Church.

Registration for this fall's Wednesday morning (8:15-9:45 AM) program have opened up for children ages 3-5 to hear, ponder, and celebrate the love of Our Lord.

Anyone wanting to be Confirmed (currently starting 7th grade) or receive First Holy Communion (2nd grade) must be registered by September 21.

Pick up a prayer card at the doors of church and join us in praying for our catechists who will be teaching our children in Faith Formation this year.

Parishioners who love to share their faith in Christ and his Church are needed to teach our faith formation students. We are also looking for teen volunteers to serve as assistants to the catechists.

RCIA is the process by which persons who were never baptized, or were baptized in another Christian tradition, become members of the Church, a people on pilgrimage to our Heavenly Father.

I am Mahalia Marcelin, a servant of the Lord, serving as your Director of Faith Formation. It is an honor to serve Christ with you at Nativity of Our Lord.

Fr. Patrick details the transition to full capacity in the church and previews a Mass schedule change. He also welcomes our new Faith Formation Director, and congratulates the soon-to-be Fr. David Hottinger and 1st Communicants.

Between our Early Learning Center and part-time preschool at Nativity School, we are pleased to offer a variety of options to fit each of our families' preschool needs. We hope you will consider Nativity for your child(ren)’s early childhood years! 

We are blessed to have four individuals prayerfully discerning in our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) process. Please pray for each of our Elect and Candidates as they make their final steps towards Easter.

Our Director of Faith Formation, Katie Schaitberger, has decided to step down from her position, as she has accepted another position in ministry elsewhere.
